--- Quote --- And, since detailed aerial photos haven't been published yet, and time is passing and KORD will undergo ANOTHER major upgrade soon, which should hopefully be the final one, it might be better to simply wait for that, and (IF and WHEN aerial photos wil be available), make one big upgrade, with the airport in its final configuration.

O'Hare is going through phase 2.......They have shortned 32L-14R to 9500' , some of the new cargo hangers are already in place......What photos do you need for any updates? I know 27R-9L or A.K.A, the north runway has been open for sometime now. There is going to be a new south tower, that started ground breaking a week or two ago......If I can help, let me know!!
Cheers,
Doug

Hello
I hope it will be well before the big 2014 update KORD v2 hopefully that will work similarly
FS2004.
thanks
PUP4ORD:
The reason for a major upgrade at O'Hare International was to add a better runway layout, with the old runway 18/36 being closed simpley of its short length. On airport diagrams its shown as taxiway WT. 9L/27R IS in use as well O'HARE tower North. The rest of the runways won't be open until either late this year or more so until next year. A so called West concourse(terminal) might not be built at present because both United and American Airlines are both opposed to it. Bottom line is this: Some changes have made sense and others changes miss the mark. ::)

The USDA FSA has aerial photos at 1 m/pixel resolution from 2009. I've attached a reduced resolution overview.
