How does one switch between the DX9 and DX10 graphics mode?

If you have Windows Vista/7, in your settings (press Customize at the bottom), there will be a check box that says Preview DX10.

I tried the DX-10 preview, and my taxiway lines and runways touchdown stripes flicker on and off, and my framesrates drop. Anyone know why this could be?

Its a beta version, so its not fully working yet.  AA seems to work only if you use a 3rd party program like nHancer, and the frame rates are dependent of the computer.
