Yes, this worked for me as well. I do not accept this as a proper solution though, as having AI dock themselves is hugely immersive. This is a very frustration problem that so many people have and I wish the developer was more interested in solving.

Well, I am going to dig this one back up as I too have no choice at KORD other than to disable auto dock and disable ai detection....I truly hope that this gets fixed...KORD is a very nice add on and would be nice to not have to have this work around. Umberto feel free to ignore my PM.

Surely when you start your aircraft from C&D you’re preoccupied with that. I don’t look at other Ai during that task or even when taxiing out.
It’s a realistic feature but the load on the system is disproportionately heavy.

Valid point. I really am not looking around too much at all. Usually panning quick if I am simply waiting for tug. It's minor forsure but would be nice to at least have the option.
