GSX update apparently not working?

Hi. I am intermittently getting a message when starting P3D (v4.5) that there is a GSX update available. So after shutting down the sim I am running the Universal Installer, which shows updates available for GSX and GSX Level 2. I run those updates, but the Installer still shows the updates as being available. I have run the update several times, but the updates are still showing as being available! And I am still periodically getting that message in P3D about an available update.  I cannot see that I am doing anything wrong, so what is going on here?

The installer never says if an Update is available. The update button really means "check for updates and download them, if required", it will never disable itself.
