If you have MSFS, you can't install GSX there, you need GSX Pro. However, the installer will download all the 64 bit version of all files since, apart for the .exe itself, the rest of the code is shared, but this won't affect FSX in any way.

The problem with your crash is that, in FSX, you also have a crash in API.DLL, which is NOT something happening in our code, it's Simconnect itself, as if there was some kind of problem or conflict in the FSX installation.

Okay thank you so much that makes more sense

Well I had time to fix everything for fsx and still have the issue and now its only coming up saying couatl is causing the crash by ntdll.dll so now what are my options?
I had 0 issues before this recent update and am now getting frusturated and I am getting it since I am going to college for cybersecurity so what can you do for something like this?

The usual suggestions:

- Configure the antivirus to add the whole Addon Manager folder to the Exclusions.

- Be sure your Windows is full updated

- Run the FSDT Live Update again, after doing the antivirus exclusion.

- Restart Windows after doing all the updates.

Okay so I got a different error after searching the internet for many hours and going through forums back to 2010 I have decided to get rid of everything related to gsx including C++ versions and start back at square one and let everything rebuild I was wondering if this could work. I have not tested this because of the hour I reposted this issue again last week and was wondering if I retest it if this is would work because I got the ucrtl.dll and from couatl. I will see if what I did work or not.
