GSX freezes during deboarding and boarding

Hi all,

Just need a bit of help with an issue I noticed since today as I've been prompted with an update message (which was bit weird considering I saw nothing in the release notes). I couldn't find a similar topic, but apologies in advance if I missed it.

Systematically, when boarding/deboarding passenger with GSX Level 2, either walkin gates or through SODE Jetway, GSX seems to freeze completely. The boarding/deboarding doesn't finish, people don't move anymore and I am unable to access the interaction menu or any GSX displays (settings, customization windows, etc.). Restart Couatl doesn't do anything neither, and I can't disable GSX. The only solution so far is then to close the sim.

This occurred only since I updated GSX, I run on P3D v4.5, PMDG 738 NGXu.


Couatl.err shows:

it also happened at EIDW and LFBZ earlier today.

I have attemped updates via the live updater and performed a clean install. Nothing else has changed, as far as I can remember.

Yes I am having the same issues it Freezes during Baggage and passanger loading..

I ran updater 2 times still an issue

Definitely ran it a few times during the afternoon (around 14:00UTC), this is probably around the time I even reinstalled GSX completely. I can give it another go. something that actually made me curious is that the installer shows step 1 out of 37 but I've never seen it going further. Is is crashing mid-update, or expected?

Funny enough I never had a problem before  ;D

There are no errors, and it's not crashing. The Live Update is supposed to be run quickly without all unnecessary clicks so, when it's done, it just quits because, since you asked to be all updated, when it's done, there's nothing left to do other than quit, so it saves you an unnecessary confirmation.

And, you'll never see all steps performed, unless you have all FSDT products, for both MSFS and P3D, all installed at the same time.
