Is there a problem with the installers? I tried the update for the walking passengers and it kept crashing like listed in another post. couldn't get it to work at all. I uninstalled ALL fsdream team products, windows is updated, anti virus is off, firewall is off deleted all addon manager files and folder.
download from the official page the installer and every time at a different point it errors out on a file saying it is corrupt !! Everytime it is a different file, sometimes it almost finishes but most times it is around 25% to 50 %
I have tried this 6 times and now can't get anything to install. VERY FRUSTRATING.

I have tried Firefox, IE, Edge to download but NOTHING is working. so now I have no FSdreamteam products installed. It seems that each time there is an update there is a problem sigh.......

No, there isn't, otherwise we would have the forum flooded by reports ( the few times we DID had server problems, reports comes *minutes* after we updated a file ) of similar issues.

You can be sure the file we have online is not corrupted. If it's corrupted on your system, there are only two possible reasons:

- Your antivirus is interfering, corrupting the file locally.

- You got a bad download. Try to remove this folder:

Documents\GSX_Installer

- And download it again. If that doesn't work, the thread named "ERROR "THE FILE SOURCE IS CORRUPTED" **SOLVED**" has some instructions to verify what files you got:

http://www.fsdreamteam.com/forum/index.php/topic,19926.msg165843.html#msg165843

Please note those MD5 are now likely all different, because the installer surely has been updated in the meantime so, JUST use that post as a reference to know what to do to check the MD5, and once you got them, report back with the MD5 you got, and I can tell you if they are correct, so we know if got a bad download.

Thanks for the quick reply,
This is the output I got.

7EE491E45F84F3CCFEF98500C7A91F2C  gsx_p3d4_setup2-6.bin

FE987848705620D9BBF1A9353744BFB6  gsx_p3d4_setup2.exe

AV is disabled
Firewall is disabled
GSX installer folder is removed
Addon manager folder is removed
fresh download each time
windows updates are done

every installation has errored out on a different .dds file saying the source is corrupted.

I have now tried over 20 times downloading new files and every time it errors out on a random file. I have never ever had installation problems like this with any other software. Not sure what I can try to get this to work.

There's only ONE file that you got right, and it's the smaller gsx_p3d4_setup2.exe

None of the others match what we have online. Which is puzzling because, even the gsx_p3d4_setup2.exe IS downloaded by the gsx_p3d4_setup.exe, which doesn't do anything other than downloading all these files, then start the .exe, they are downloaded together, at the same time, obviously from the same URL.

Check if the MD5 are different each time. Something like this would indicate they are being corrupted *locally* on your system after they have been downloaded.

Thanks for the tip.

Here is how I resolved the problem:
Used msconfig and selected safe boot with networking I was then able to restart and download the files from the website. Downloaded the level 1 pkg first and installed and then the level 2 expansion and installed.
had to reboot in regular mode and run the updater which worked. Reactivated my product and all seems to be working again.

I don't see any option for walking passengers but haven't read the forums regarding a how to set that up yet.

Thanks for the help
John
