No parking spots in some airports **SOLVED**

Could you try do it again and wait a little bit ? If you are parked with engines off and parking brakes on, wait until AFTER you see the GSX Traffic Cones appear around the airplane ( assuming you are not using an airplane that has them disabled ). Also, try to use GSX, so you can see the error message about no parkings and THEN, exit the sim, so the Log would hopefully contain something more meaningful.

The only thing "unusual" in your log, is the GSX started to create the MODEL cache, which is required to do when new models have been added, but it didn't finished but, it's difficult to say for sure, not knowing if your log was just cut out because you quit the sim too quickly.

was this directed at doubleU or me?

Checking all your logs , it's directed to both of you, which seem to all have the same thing in common: GSX started to recreate the model cache, but it didn't finish. But as I've said, I'm not entirely sure it really stopped, or it was just because you exited the sim too quickly, so the log doesn't contain everything.

Are you sure you waited until after you started GSX and saw the message about no parkings, before exiting the sim ?

Try this:

- Configure the antivirus and add this folder to the Exclusions:

C:\ProgramData\Virtuali

- Then manually REMOVE the folder, and try again. Maybe the model cache recreation is just taking longer than normal, possibly because of the antivirus.

UPDATE

The attached file has been removed from this post, since it's no longer required. Just run the Live Update again, to get a small update which won't freeze GSX anymore if the model rules folder is not found.

DoubleU:
That works for me! Thanks for working it out  8)

Lisler:
Thank you, this has resolved my issue.
