That's why I said to ZIP IT, so you could attach it without having to rename it.
In any case, the log clearly shows the problem is either your firewall or your antivirus blocking the updated, because your version of Couatl is VERY old, it's build 4475, when the current one that has been online since months ( and hasn't changed in this update ), it's 4612.
You said you installed from the official installer, do you mean you downloaded it again, or you used an old installer you had before ? Because, with the new installer, it's impossible to have an old version, since the current installer contains the current version so, you should end up with that one, even if the firewall or antivirus is blocking the subsequent updater.
If, instead, you used an older installer, this should work too, but than it would explain why you have an older version of the .exe: the updater which the installer runs at the end has been blocked, not entirely ( so it's likely the antivirus, not the firewall ), but some files has been updated, and some have been blocked, and when there's mix-up of version, the program will never work.
So yes, looking at your logo, it's clear why it doesn't work ( outdated version ), and it's likely caused by the antivirus blocking parts of the update process that happens at the end of the installation.

Are you sure the updater closed ? If yes, it's likely the error happened too quickly after logging started, so it didn't had any chances to log anything.
Try to run the FSDT Live Update again, and try logging again, I've added extra log information in an updated version.
Run the FSDT Live Update from the Desktop icon first, and then run the updater2 from the command line, if you don't do that, you won't get the updated updater.
Hopefully, the updated updater should log more but, I'm fairly sure it's a problem of some of your .NET libraries missing.

How I'm trying to stop all antivirus again and re-download the software

Nowhere I said to stop the antivirus. No antivirus can be really "stopped", because its low-level service is still running so, unless you completely uninstall it, it's not possible to stop it.
That's why we never suggested to stop the antivirus but, instead, adding the WHOLE Addon Manager folder to the antivirus EXCLUSIONS.
And yes, we had some users that recently reported some antivirus even ignored the Exclusions, in that case I would suggest switching to a more reliable one.
mokeiko:
“Configure the antivirus to add the whole Addon manager to the antivirus Exclusions.“
I’m sorry, what do you mean by “WHOLE ADDON MANAGER”?
Thanks again for any help
