It's not a question of difficulty as much as it is practicality. If you look at the screenshot below, you will note that there are 13 pages of gates to select from. The first page has 9 gates, but because later pages have the previous page button, most of the next 12 pages have 8 gates to choose from. The last page only has 4 gates. That's a total of 101 gates to select from. If you add this back button in every menu, that means you now can only select 7 gates per page instead of 8. Now you just added an extra page or two of gates to choose from.
Captain Kevin:
Even better example. Heathrow. 22 pages worth of gates to scroll through for a total of 176 gates. If you add this back button of yours, two things will happen. First, you now will have 25 pages worth of gates to go through. Second, if you're on page 25 and you accidentally hit the back button for some reason, now you have to scroll through all 25 pages of gates again.

It's not "hard", it's the wrong choice, for reasons I and Kevin are trying to explain in so many different ways, yet you think it's not there because it's "hard" or we are "inexperienced" ? Hasn't occurred to you it's made like this becase we CHOSE to ? Not that this should have been hard to understand, considering all the many replies, all saying the same thing.

Then we call the GSX Menu and select number 6 for Gale L with 3 suitable Gates. ( screenshot 1 )
After that we get the Screen to select the Gate ( screenshot 2 )
But what if we want to go back to the Main Menu because we want to select number 5 with other Gate Positions ?
There is no "Back" Button to go back in the Main Manu ( like it is as example in Active Sky Window )
Speaking of implementation challenges, I recently came across an article that discussed the basic steps of implementing an LMS. It emphasizes the importance of easy navigation and intuitive design in software development. You might find it useful https://ddi-dev.com/blog/programming/main-steps-in-lms-implementation/ here is the link. In the meantime, a workaround might be to re-launch the GSX menu from scratch, although I realize this is not the most convenient solution.

It’s frustrating that there’s no "Back" button. A simple option to return would make navigation much smoother. I hope they update this!
