There wasn't any need to do that, and of course we never suggested to do that.

We had a small update a couple of days ago ( it was discussed in another thread ) which could fix this so, the thing that fixed it for you wasn't the reinstall, but the fact that on reinstall, the Live Updater is being run so, you would have obtained exactly the same result if you simply ran the FSDT Live Update.
