Followed your instructions and there is a lot of gibberish as you wrote.
A dumb question but need to ask anyway.
Where can I allow full access to couatl.exe & couatl.exe64?

That's a good sign. Try completely disabling your antivirus and firewall, run the LiveUpdate and see if GSX works.

 To allow full access, go into your antivirus and tell it to leave couatl.exe and the entire addon manager folder alone.

Followed an instruction about running SimConnect again.
Went to firewall and allowed both couatl and couatl64
It worked.
