Floating people

I have noticed that when using payware aircraft such as the Majestic Q400 and Aerosoft CRJ that have integral airstairs rather than jetway usage the crew and passengers appear to come down the stairs about 30 cms above the stairs. In other words they walk down but float above the airstair. I am assuming this is something to do with the fact the airstairs are an integral part of the aircraft rather than a GSX or SODE component? Or am I not setting something up correctly?

It's not possible to obtain absolute precision with embedded stairs. Of course, you can edit their position, and tweak them for the airplane you use most.
