Yes, it's normal.

Maybe it's not very clear: in P3D V5, you cannot enable or disable that option. Regardless what you do, the software will always consider it as disabled, until we'll add support for DirectX 12.

And yes, of course, if you have other 3rd party scenery that use regular texture liveries for jetways, they will always show, since those are not GSX L2 jetways, but standard SODE jetway, which never used DirectX 11 to begin with.
