You will find this video useful and I would stress for carrier ops please use the doughnut for Optimum Angle of Attack when below max landing weight (perhaps use below 50% fuel?) rather than 145KIAS as mostly indicated in video (where they do mention use the indexer if you can).

Nice Video!  It brings back a lot of memories...The only thing thats different these days is that the decks are filled with only F/A-18's.

Back in my day, we had 7 or more different aircraft - from trainers like the T-2 & T-45 to bombers like the E/A-6 & A-6's, Sub hunters like S-3's, Fighters like the  F-14's (A.'s/A+'s or some D's) & F/A-18's and a few more (including Helo.'s).  That's what I notice more these days but, I guess that is good too.

The modern US Navy is less diverse with little to no variety; I miss that.
