Hornet night catapult shot description:

http://www.neptunuslex.com/2006/02/11/rhythms-part-xliii/

'“TRIM” ” trim set 16 degrees nose up on the stabilators, rudder and aileron neutral, rudders check for 30-degree toe-in. The nose up trim sets the rate of capture for optimal flyaway angle of attack. With a properly trimmed jet, it would be a hand’s-off cat shot, with the flight computers setting the climb attitude.'

Thanks for your help guys, doesn't sound like there is much that can be done though... Oh well, its still one of the nicest planes in all of the flight sim series.

Yeah, it can be tough to get a straight answer around here sometimes.  ;)

-To the first two questions, both of those are built into the model and cannot be edited by anyone unless you have the source code (the original model file).

-As for sound, TSS makes a pretty darn good soundpack. http://www.fspilotshop.com/product_info.php?products_id=1964
