Addition: Because "Optimum Angle of Attack" is such a mouthful most likely Navy pilots will substitute "On Speed" to describe 'the mouthful'. But they know what 'on speed' means in that context - and they are not talking about IAS. For example a Navy Pilot mantra back in the A4 era was:
"MeatBall - Lineup - Airspeed" where all those items were cycled in quicktime for a carrier approach/landing. All are important; and of course in context 'airspeed' is "Optimum Angle of Attack".

In Lockon I used to use the split throttle when I was flying high AoA for aerobatics its cool to be able to do it.
