blue graphics bug
« on: October 22, 2018, 02:19:38 pm »
Hi, I have a strange blue graphics behaviour that always occurs between ~ 700 - 900 ft agl on final,
see attached screen captures. I've used P3Dv4, PMDG & GSX for some time without a problem, but this bug began, (as sure as I can be), when I installed GSX level 2.

I have done the following to determine the problem:

-updated nVidia driver from 391.35 to 411.63
-rebuilt shaders cache and P3D.cfg file
-added Windows Defender Antivirus exclusion paths to GSX folders
-kept GSX updated
-added airport_visibility exclusions of nearby airports to CouatlAddons.ini

none of these make any difference, however if I
disable GSX level 2 jetways the problem disappears.

I've searched all the support topics back to the date that GSX level 2 came out, but can't find anything helpful.

SYSTEM DETAILS:

Antec EARTHWATTS 650 w PSU
intel i7-8700K
nvidia GTX 1070, driver version 411.63
windows 10 64-bit
SSD 256 gb system drive
ASUS ROG MAXIMUS X HERO M/B
16 gb DDR4 RAM
Prepar3d v4.3
PMDG 777-300ER
GSX level 2, latest update
UTLive
Active Sky P3D v4
extensively edited default airports

any help would be greatly appreciated!

its funny you post this ..... as ive had something that has caught my eye, around the same shape, in the same position when parked on the ground that flashes on the main captains side window when I operate a GSX2 jetway at Glasgow. It's more green/yellow though.
