Hello guys!
Today, I am also bringing you 2 new liveries instead of 1. Upgrades on the other hand, I could only make 3, due to the fact that I had to learn the harsh way how to erase a configuration in 2 different ways, and having no backup, EHAM had to be done twice from scracth. (yeap, EHAM with no fixed!)... i am including in todays publication my files logo, so in the future, you can quickly identify my configurations... this will be included in the future instructions (sponsored files, already have it).
But lets start with the new sceneries.. Today is the first scenery sponsored by UK2000 (
http://www.uk2000scenery.com) which is one of the places that I found flying to more fun, EGSS Standstead. UK2000 has made possible to fly in the UK with P3D, which by the way is one of the most challenging country to fly in, specially if English is not your native language... I personaly love it. Standsted is now available with no fixed jetways and with all pushbacks fully fixed. Hope you like it and I here want to thank Gary from UK2000 for being so proactive and welcoming of our files.
The other scenery that our first sponsors to push this project has brought us this week is LFML from Jetstream. A great place to fly at sunset, and if you like to practice VFR, a very nice short fly from our past weeks scenery LFMN. Thanks
www.SimMarket.com and www.SimFlight.de for still supporting your weekly addition to the cartayna files. In 2 weeks all files will be v3, so only new sceneries can appear here...
Speaking of which, yes, EHAM is here today with all possible wind configurations of the runways and the trick to remove the fixed jetways.. it has been difficult to have it in time, since it had to be done twice. And here is a voice of alert to all of you that are doing configurations: a) Never ever change scenery or exit the Sim when you are in any of the 2 editing modes of GSX2, GSX Level 2 will probably either delete de file or lose most of its info. And b) You know how you can select many gates on the left and do a global customization of them chosing common parameters that all might have? well if you do that, you lose all your pushback configurations (coordinates only) which in a case like EHAM and also happend in EGSS, took hours to make. I have reported it to GSX and hope is all solved soon.
Also in the upgrades, one of Simflight.de editors Günter, EDDB V3-NF. ENVA (V3), eventhough the default jeteays are pretty neat, you must have notice that passangers are seen boarding higher than its gates, so i decided to do it.. of course fixing all pushbacks, that most were wrong. Another big update: LSZH V3 NF! I love the way it looks.
And to finnish some great news to Cartayna Files and to many many of you that have been sending messages asking if I was going ever to do US sceneries,... Well yesterday Flightbeam (
https://www.flightbeam.net/) has send me an email saying they are on board Cartayna Files, so we will be bringing one of their top sceneries of USA!!.. Soon all updates to v3 will be finnished, and thus I can now think of bringing some of the finest sceneries of the US too... Starting with what is one of the top scenery developers in the FlightSim world. Is a bit of a challenge, since I dont think that I can add anything that is not already perfect... So i promise I will do my best, at least I am sure my pushbacks can always be a positive addition to a scenery.
Have a great weekand, see you next friday and.. Safe flights!
