Quick question regarding LOWW (hope it's okay to aks here):

Is the mirror based parking guidance system actually/currently used in real life (i.e. stands F-)?
If so, how do they work? What do the red/green lights mean, when do I stop? I can't find any information irl or in the gsx manual....
