Hi Umberto, et-al,

I just did a complete refresh of my system including a Windows 10 reset. When I install FSDT scenery and GSX I get no add on manager menu within P3d, Couatl does not start and (in some attempts) I only get gates. Iíve combed through the forum and taken the recommended course of action:

-Reset Windows 10 erasing all flight sim applications/products
-Installed P3dV4, Active Sky and UTLive
-Installed only KCLT and then GSX
-Re downloaded the Microsoft Visual C++ libraries for 2005, 2013 and 2015 for x86 & x64 (where
 applicable)
-Re downloaded and re-ran FSDT Live Updater
-Launched P3D

After launching and navigating to CLT, there is no airport, no Coutl running in process explorer and no add-on manager (Virtuali) dialogue within the software. The only item that shows in the add-ons menu is SODE.

Please note that the aforementioned was completed with NO virus software installed (other than default Windows Defender of which I canít switch off). The only software I've installed prior to P3D is Microsoft Office, nothing else. After installing P3D I decided to load FSDT first, Flightbeam second and confirm these sceneries before installing anything else on top of P3D. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Howard

Umberto,

Since this post I've added the bglmanx.dll and the Addon Manager folders as exclusions under Windows Defender. Since I can't disable Defender as a service I have been able to disable real-time protection, uninstalled and reinstalled but the results are the same.

I'm sorry, but if Couatl doesn't start, the only possible reasons it's either the antivirus, or missing libraries on your system. This thread here tells everything you need to know about missing libraries:

Okay Umberto,

I reset the system again and meticulously followed your workflow including removal of all generated P3D files and the executable. Firxt scenery install CLT and its back. Thank you for your support.
