GATE size definition **SOLVED**
« on: October 01, 2017, 07:00:19 pm »
i have recently installed the just released aerosoft Heatrow for P3DV4 and I have noticed that some stands (one example is T5 stand 518) have been designed SMALL, while they were HEAVY on the previous version (and in real world this stand is typically used by BA 777 and 747). This apparently causes GSX pushback not to work at that gate when you have "heavy" aircraft parked on it. I was trying to pushback today from that stand with the PMDG747 but I received a msg saying that the stand was too small for the selected aircraft and that p/b was not available at that stand. The same stand in the previous version was designated Heavy and everything worked flawlessly. Is there anything that can be done on GSX side to overcome this limitation ?. I have posted the same on the AS support site.
Thanks

Ezio

Problem solved....I used the GSX "Customize parking position" to change the stand type to Heavy and the increase the maximum wingspan allowed.
