What Apps Are dependent on couatl?

Can someone tell me. Is couatl only required for GSX to run? If not, what other apps is it used for?

All FSDT and Flightbeam (afaik) sceneries use Couatl. There has to be an underlying issue to your GSX problems and not GSX itself.

That's the first time ever someone said something as absurd as GSX, our most successful product by far (sold in TRIAL version, so it obviously works for everybody, unless we won't sell them many), it's a "glorified Shift+P"...but I guess there are just no limit what one can write on the internet...

Now, if you could explain what's, exactly, is your problem with GSX, maybe we can help you.

It's your most successful product and I'm happy for you. It does add extraordinary realism to FSX. But for my own personal use It is not game breaker. I bought it, so I might as well get what I can out of it. If I invest in something I expect it to perform up to it's expectations.

Which obviously does. If you still have a problem with it, please clearly indicate it, and we'll help you fixing it, as we always did.
