No solution, sorry, but it can't work:
GSX installer ALLWAYS tries to connect to home server to get data for installation, and if it can't connect, no data are avalialbe for installation, it simply hangs.
I just tried, to be sure, and it happend just like this.

Virtuali must rework the GSX update, there is a heavy bug inside.

This update broke all of my FSDT airports, and I have every one of them. Installed the update and then went to 5 different FSDT airports in FSX-SE and some only have jetways (not attached to anything) and others have nothing. Basically, the airports look like a blank space. There was no effect on my non-FSDT airports however, but I'm hoping this can get fixed shortly.

To install the new update, you have two options:

- Download the latest Full installer, which contains everything.

OR

- Download the latest Stand-Alone Addon Manager and the latest Vehicles Update from the GSX page.
