question about scenery customization files

Hi All, I'm new to GSX. I just installed the latest updates and program.
In this forum I see customization files for FSDT KORD and KLAX dated from 2013 and 2014.
With the latest updates, are these files beneficial or already added into the internal coding for FSDT airports?

The KLAX scenery installer already comes with an .INI file. It's likely the same it was posted on the forum so, just to be sure, I re-attached the file now, so they are the same, which means nobody will risk downgrading the customization by downloading it from the forum.

KORD doesn't come with .INI, so I guess it should be still useful. We'll try to include it in the next scenery update.
