No GSX after landing

GSX has been working flawlessly since the day I bought it. After the newest update it continues to work fine until today, after landing in Seatle KSEA I found out there were no GSX. CTRL + F12 doesn't work, on FSX menu there were no GSX option (GSX was working at my departure airport)
Restart FSX:SE and it works again.
This is the first time I'm having this issue.
No problem at all just want to know why it happened.
