GSX while approaching an airport

Good day, saw a video of a KSEA-OMDB flight where the gentleman activated GSX and requested a gate while on approach to OMDB. I tried the usual CTRL+F12 and nothing came up on approach. Thanks.

That's because you have an outdated version, which didn't had this feature.
