Joystick loses functionality and do not own GSX

The current update of the addon-manager was installed;however, i do not own the GSX program ..my joystick lost its ability to function, no panning, no switching from cockpit to outside view..no nothing..
the forum spoke of the work around in the GSX config but i have elected not to use that one..can i return to the previous update OR is another option handy..since i do not own GSX..Any tip would be helpful.

I confirm the very latest Beta and the latest official release DOES NOT disable the joystick anymore when entering the GSX editor UNLESS you explicitly set the editor_joystick_disabled to 1, otherwise it doesn't do anything.

Understood.....thank you for your reply..I will re-read the post...i had something go wrong..and got a tad frustrated..did't know where to turn..thank you again :-)
