GSX and Majestic Q400 **SOLVED**
« on: March 06, 2015, 12:56:12 am »
Hey everyone,

Running GSX in P3D 2.5 with the latest patch 2.5.12944.0 and when I try to use GSX, it tells me You need to stop the engines to use ground services, even though they are not running.

The message can be seen here: http://i.imgur.com/7FSaVj6.jpg

Not sure if this is a problem with the P3D hotfix, or another problem? Any help is appreciated.

Kind regards,

Dan

The problem doesn't have anything to do with P3D, the Hotfix or GSX, and it has been discussed many times on the forum, it's caused by the fact the airplane you are using (Majestic Q400, is unique and use a non-standard flight model, so GSX cannot possibly know if its engines are on or off.

As suggested in all other threads about the Q400, using the default key that shuts off fuel pumps (by default it's CTRL+Shift+F1), should work.

I had never had the problem with the Q400 and GSX before, which is why I thought it may be hotfix related in P3D. Nevertheless, your suggestion has fixed it so many thanks for the help.

Kind Regards,
