gsx update 5 problem

After installing update 5 the wing walker does his thing but no tug is visible just the sounds. If I do a reinstall of the update while in fsx it will then reappear but only for that session.
Anybody have any ideas, other than reinstalling the previous revision?

You can't just update the vehicles, you must update the GSX code, either with a download/install of the Stand-Alone Addon manager, or with the Full GSX installer.

I did the vehicles first then the addon manager that must be the problem.
Will it be a problem to do the full gsx installer now?

The order shouldn't be the problem. It's a problem only if you tested the program with one of the two not installed.

No, the full installer should always fix anything.
