Scenery packages not loading correctly and poor performance

All four installs went smoothly with no errors, and I've verified using Addon Manager that these four are
listed as installed and active.

If I understood correctly, you have stutters at KORD, and very low fps at the others.
About KORD, be sure you use the CURRENT installer or, if not, download the DX10 fix (even if you use DX9) found on the O'Hare support forum.
About the others, very low fps and lock ups are never a problem of the scenery, and always a problem of your settings. Specifically, DFW is one of our most fps friendly airports, 5 fps are basically impossible.
Try all the following:
- Update your video driver
- Reset your video driver settings to default
- Reset the FSX settings to default, by removing the following file:
%APPDATA%\Microsoft\FSX\FSX.CFG
This will force FSX to rebuild a new config with all default settings. After doing this, be sure you apply the HIGHMEMFIX tweak in the Addon Manager, save the settings and restart FSX.
If this still doesn't fix it, be sure you don't run FSX into any of the "Compatibility" modes. Every checkmark in the Compatibility tab of the Properties for FSX.EXE should be off.

Things are looking better, I'm working on what you recommended:
- Update your video driver Done
- Reset your video driver settings to default Not exactly sure how to do this. Think I'll need the Nvidia config tool.
- Reset the FSX settings to default, by removing the following file: Done
%APPDATA%\Microsoft\FSX\FSX.CFG
I'll search for the GPU tool tomorrow-- it's getting late here.
I'll keep you advised.
Thanks
